Digital Literacy @ Waikato
Learning organisations understand the need to develop their staff to support continual improvement of practice.
With the rapid and continuous change of information communication technologies (ICT) in society, workplaces must ensure their staff can adapt their ICT skills to remain agile and capable in this dynamic environment.
Digital Literacy @ Waikato aims to improve digital literacy, thereby enhancing and maintaining University staff’s ICT capability. It is intended that this approach will support the University to identify and envision appropriate digital literacy capability that matches workforce needs and responsibilities. The project will develop and provide individual managers and staff with instruments to identify their current and future digital literacy needs, which in turn will contribute to their ability to plan for staff career needs and continual review and improvement of their digital literacy skills.
