Professional Development Offerings
The WCEL Team offer a range of workshops to enhance the use of eLearning and technology within the University. Our workshops have a digital literacy focus, which means we assist staff to work towards finding solutions independently. WCEL staff are also happy to work with individuals, groups or departments where appropriate as organised. If you are interested in using eLearning in your teaching for the first time please send a request via the ITS Helpdesk. s
WCEL Events Schedule
Following is the calendar of upcoming WCEL Events. You can also download the 2016 WCEL Events Flyer which outlines our Hamilton events. Staff based in Tauranga are asked to contact WCEL to arrange sessions. To make trips to Tauranga viable, as a general rule, we require at least five (5) UOW staff members in attendance. Google Hangouts may be used as an alternative to travel where appropriate.
Click the event title in the calendar below to learn more about the session. If you simply copy the calendar event to your calendar we will not know you're coming so please register using the form on the Professional Development for Staff page. Once registered a calendar appointment will be sent to you as confirmation of your place.
