Gráinne Conole's Bio
Gráinne is a highly respected researcher, innovator and speaker on elearning and technology enhanced learning. She is Professor of Learning Innovation and Director of the Beyond Distance Research Alliance at Leicester University in the UK. Prior to that she was Chair of E-Learning at the Institute of Educational Technology, Open University and has also held positions of leadership in Education Innovation and Learning Technology at the Universities of Southampton and Bristol. Gráinne has interests in many aspects of technology enhanced learning including learning design, student experience, Open Educational Resources and Practices (though the OPAL initiative and a new EU-funded project POERUP), and social and participatory media.
