Waikato were fortunate and privileged to be the hosts for the 2013 national MoodleMoot conference. Held in April, this was a fantastic opportunity to gain new perspectives on how Moodle can be used for effective teaching & learning. The conference ran over three days with a day of workshops followed by two days of keynotes, conference presentations and open spaces.
WCELfest is an annual one day event organised by the Waikato Centre for eLearning. This is a fantastic opportunity for staff and colleagues to meet up, share and discover how people are using learning technologies to make a difference. Each WCELfest event's resources are linked via the navigation on the left.
WCELfest2013 took place on Thursday 31st January 2013 and was another successful day. Dr John Hinchcliff drew on his wealth of experience to explore our approach to the future of learning in the Keynote, "Balancing the humanum and the technos in Learning for our Future". Recordings of the day's events are available online.
